Sävar sawmill

Sävar sawmill specialises in the production of high-quality spruce and pine products. The sawmill has excellent capacity for planing and uses high-quality redwood and whitewood from the counties of Västerbotten and northern Ångermanland.

Information on Sävar sawmill

Annual production about 170,000 m³ sawn timber. Bandsaw line for all timber dimensions.
Raw material about 50% redwood, 50% whitewood.
Special drying about 35,000 m³.
Planing about 80,000 m³ in two
planing lines, of which one for lengths of up to 12 metres. Of this, about 12,000 m³ is finger-jointed and sorted according to stress grading.
About 85 employees, of which 70 in two-shift operation.
